Accelerating Drug Development and Scientific DiscoveryWe are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team at a global pharmaceutical company.Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer will provide engineering support and problem-solving for existing equipment and manufacturing processes within a Bio-pharmaceutical plant.ResponsibilitiesManage small-to-mid-sized projects related to process equipment and manufacturingAssist in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipmentUpdate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and other related drawingsUpdate Process Flow Diagrams for manufacturing processesUpdate system Functional Specifications (FS) and execute automation updates with site automation department i.e. testing code updates by running system operationsAssist in investigations of process equipment, utility systems, and control system anomalies, as well as safety incidentsIdentify and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPAs) for existing equipment and manufacturing processesIdentify and implement process improvements for manufacturing processes and utilitiesPrepare engineering evaluations and test plans for and execute site change control documentationMay supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractorsMaintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulationsMaintain company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulationsIdentify opportunities to introduce equipment improvements and latest technologiesAssist with tech transfer activities, such as process scale up and New Product Introductions (NPIs).RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering3-5 years' experience in the relevant industry and direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferredExperience with design and commissioning within the biopharmaceutical sector would be desirableBenefitsCompetitive employee compensation packagePension contributionsSick payHealth insurancePaid public holidaysLocation: Limerick, Ireland | Full-time On-Site
