IT Support Engineer Contract | €220-€250/day
Overview
A client in Dublin seeks an IT Support Engineer to provide technical support across Windows and Microsoft environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, assisting with IT projects, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a hybrid workplace.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide Level 2 support for Windows, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory environments.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
3. Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and IT security improvements.
4. Support cloud services, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 applications.
5. Maintain technical documentation and contribute to IT process improvements.
6. Work alongside senior engineers on escalated issues and project-based tasks.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
* Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure is a plus.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
* Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Comp TIA A+ are desirable.
