Business Analyst - E&W Team, Energy Efficiency & Optimization Team

The AWS EMEA Energy & Water org is looking for a results-orientated individual to join their Energy Efficiency & Optimization team.
As an Energy Business Analyst, you will use a strong analytical skillset to analyze energy and water data, discover and solve energy efficiency & optimization business problems, and build processes, mechanisms, and tools to deliver results and improve the customer's experience. You will enable effective decision making by collaborating with internal orgs, retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
This position can be based in Madrid, Dublin, or London.

Key job responsibilities
1. Deliver data management best practices and methodologies for standardization of our power, energy, & water datasets
2. Develop and collaborate with data, analytics, and business teams to deliver relevant and scalable tools, analytics and process improvements for the Power, Energy, & Water teams
3. Deliver technical analyses and business cases for power, energy, & water solutions, that enable optimization, compliance, and high velocity decision making that align with Amazon's global sustainability goals
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in the data/BI space
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
