Legal Secretary – Commercial Real Estate Department
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Commercial Real Estate Department. Our Commercial Real Estate Department provides legal services to a wide range of national and international clients, including developers, commercial landlords and tenants, financial institutions, corporate borrowers, alternative lenders and other providers of equity investment and debt finance.
Duties & Responsibilities
• File management including scanning, filing, archiving etc.
• Document Management System – open new files and maintain existing files
• Audio typing of correspondence and documents from digital dictation
• Creating, amending and formatting documents
• Scheduling and managing deeds
• Liaising with clients
• Diary Management
• General office duties
• Any ad hoc duties that may arise
Skills & Expertise
• 2 years secretarial experience in a Conveyancing Department
• Pro-active thinker and problem solver
• Ability to manage a high volume and fast moving workload
• Strong communication skills and good telephone manner
• Knowledge of PRA website
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent typing and computer skills with knowledge of Keyhouse an advantage (but not essential as training will be given)
• Have a high level of discretion and ability to work with sensitive and confidential data
