We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering top-notch products to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Cabinet Maker with a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cabinet making techniques, an eye for detail, and the ability to work with various materials to create bespoke, high-quality wardrobe and furniture pieces. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about their craft and looking to contribute to a growing, dynamic company.
Please note we are not seeking apprentices.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role (no apprentices).
* Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
* Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery.
* Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
* Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Full driving license is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture, assemble, and install custom wardrobes and furniture to high standards.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and client specifications.
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, veneers, and other materials accurately.
* Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
* Inspect completed work for quality and make necessary adjustments.
* Work closely with the design team to ensure client requirements are met.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintain high levels of craftsmanship throughout the production process.
Desirable:
* Experience with modern wardrobe and furniture design trends.
* Familiarity with CNC machinery or CAD software is a plus.
* A keen interest in bespoke and custom furniture production.
