Cpl are once again working as the exclusive recruitment partner to support our legacy client partner in the Pharma Distribution business who are recruiting an experienced Systems Engineer for their site in Citywest Co. Dublin.
The company are Ireland's leading distributors of Pharma products to the Irish Pharmacy and Hospital networks.
Role
* Supervise a team of 5 engineers.
* Develop an expertise in fundamental processes within the integrated warehouse management system and automated picking systems.
* Develop an expertise on how this system is integrated with a state of the art ERP system (SAP), as well as the ASRS and Miniload systems.
* Support the operations daily sustaining activities, ensuring that the warehouse management system performs to, and exceeds established targets.
* Support the business in all testing activities on the test warehouse management system. Work as part of a dynamic and multi-discipline team to deliver a robust testing solution.
* Understand, analyse and eliminate reoccurring faults or bugs on the warehouse management system.
* Liaise with the facilities team on reoccurring mechanical or electrical issues on the automated crane and conveyor system.
* System auditing and maintenance.
* Identify potential improvements to the warehouse management system and associated processes.
* Business and operational analysis (Capacity, efficiency, performance, etc).
Requirements
* Minimum Honors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
* Min 4 years prior Process engineering experience preferably in facilities, warehouse management or utilities.
* Team lead/supervisory experience is essential.
* Experience in the Pharma/FMCG sectors is an advantage.
