Job Description:
Are you ready to kickstart your career in supply chain management? Do you have a passion for project support and business operations? Join us as a Supply Chain/Business Support Graduate and embark on a 24-month journey across Ireland and Denmark.
The Position
The objective of this position is to give the holder the diversity of opportunity in a dynamic pharmaceutical organisation. It aims to provide the candidate with a multi-disciplinary appreciation of careers within Supply Chain & Business support and experience of the pharmaceutical sector. The opportunity will be temporary (24 months) in duration and will consist of a role within our Supply Chain Department with rotations across group in relation to SC and Business support.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing a holistic understanding of supply chain operations and inventory management.
2. Co-ordinating and liaising with all elements in the Value Stream (Purchasing, Stores, Manufacturing, Development, Quality, Warehouse, etc.) to ensure delivery of site customer service metrics.
3. Undertaking and partaking in Continuous Improvement projects, to achieve pre-determined project objectives in line with project timelines.
4. Upskilling and assisting with the rollout of Supply Chain and Operations support system infrastructure.
Qualifications:
1. Degree level in supply chain, business qualifications or related discipline to Honours level (if completing degree May/June 2025 results to date should reflect working towards honours grade). MBA would be a plus.
2. Previous contact with the pharmaceutical sector will be a plus.
3. Previous experience from a multinational environment would be a plus.
4. Strong organisational and planning skills.
5. Great communicator, comfortable with leading others with influence and with collaboration.
6. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
