Exciting opportunity for a Head of Commodity Sales Europe to join a vibrant and award-winning commodity trading and supply group in Dublin.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Sales Team Leadership: be a member of the global Senior Sales Leadership Team helping to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
2. Sales Strategy Development: be accountable for the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth, establish the brand in new markets, and expand our existing customer base.
3. Target Setting and Performance Monitoring: establish challenging sales targets and closely monitor sales performance, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to forecast sales targets accurately. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
5. Customer Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identify their needs, and provide exceptional customer service to maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty.
6. Sales Process Optimisation: continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancement to streamline operations and drive sales productivity.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
