ELECTRICAL UTILITIES ENGINEER
This is a 12 months contract opportunity to support our clients' projects and day-to-day activities at their dynamic and innovative hub in Sligo, the beautiful North West of Ireland.
Responsibilities:
1. Support Site Services Team in the Turnover/Commissioning of the Project.
2. Conduct Walkdowns with the Project Team on behalf of the Site & Generate Punch-list as required.
3. Manage Punch-list and Oversee Close out of raised Punches.
4. Review Documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
5. Liaise with Project System Owners as required.
6. Assist with the Commissioning & Supporting of System Integration.
7. Ensure Safety & Quality standards are met, and safe working practices adhered to.
8. Develop a project plan and qualification strategy in line with the requirements.
9. Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls in specific areas of the plan and identify solutions to address the shortfalls.
10. Organise and/or attend any necessary meetings required for progress gathering or plan alignment.
11. Communicate with project stakeholders for required support.
Requirements:
1. Electrical Engineering Degree Desired but not essential.
2. Electrical Trade qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Cert or Electrical & Instrumentation Cert.
3. 5 years’ experience in Engineering or related discipline with project management experience.
4. Knowledge/Understanding of Site Electrical Infrastructure, Substations, Electrical Distribution, PLCs, Electrical Drawings, P&IDs, IS.101010, etc.
5. Comfortable using IT applications including MS Word, Excel, etc.
