Job Description:
The EHS Manager will provide leadership and direction to employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and safety objectives. This role involves implementing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs, offering expert guidance on EHS policies and strategies, and overseeing audits, assessments, surveys, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the EHS team
* Implement EHS programs to meet legislative and corporate standards
* Provide strategic EHS guidance to management
* Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and industry standards
* Establish procedures for waste management
* Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Enhance and manage integrated systems for Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Energy Management
* Direct the integration of corporate EHS&E standards into a unified management system
* Oversee EHS&E operational and capital budgets
* Lead and manage all EHS programs and significant site projects
* Apply EHS&E expertise to process design and workplace safety
* Develop and manage emergency response plans
* Actively participate in local and national business continuity planning and crisis management teams
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health (Level 8) or a related discipline
* 5-7 years of experience in an EHS management role
* Detailed knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry
Salary:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year
