As part of the Client Computing Group (CCG), the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) IP Team have been at the forefront of designing and delivering solutions for exciting new machine vision and artificial intelligence markets. The NPU is a critical component of Intel's AI strategy.
Within the group, the NPU IP Hardware team are responsible for delivering Artificial Intelligence (AI) accelerator Intellectual Property (IP) enabling Intel's silicon development programs and are involved right from concept, through architecture into design, verification and debug of new silicon products.
We are seeking a motivated Technical Program Manager to drive Hardware execution for one or more programs for Intel's NPU IP product lines. You will be responsible for organizing activities to ensure on-time delivery of key hardware deliverables throughout the program lifecycle on time and within scope and budget. This is a visible role that interfaces across business units and involves directly working with architects, development engineers, physical design engineers, validation engineers and management to drive results.
Responsibilities include:
1. Work with the Engineering teams, to plan and execute projects, ensuring that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver projects effectively.
2. Work with internal and external teams to establish realistic estimates and timelines, while supporting continuous monitoring and mentoring to help ensure that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
3. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders
4. Defining and delivering indicators on progress to management and senior leadership.
5. Proactively identify program issues and mitigate risks..
6. Work with the project team identifying and planning key Program milestones
7. Monitor Project health providing weekly updates on key Program milestones
8. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and guide team members on optimum project planning and execution

18. Needs to have effective mechanisms for tracking status and communicating to program stakeholders.
19. Needs to work without reminders to manage program status.
20. Willing to operate in ambiguous environments and have the ability to provide the team with clarity and direction.
21. Ability to work across organizational boundaries

Qualifications
Qualifications:
23. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
24. At least eight years of industry experience in hardware(Silicon) or software engineering
25. 5+ years of program management experience
26. Ability to ramp quickly on new technologies in the AI / ML space
Additional preferred qualifications:
27. Two or more years in an engineering lead or architect role
28. Familiarity with AI / Machine Learning

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
