Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent discipline.
5+ years post-qualification experience with tier one contractors.
Excellent working knowledge of the latest building regulations and certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Lead / Contracts Manager / Project Director, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Agreeing project objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
2. Representing the interests of the client and Collen.
3. Responsible for the successful delivery of the project through leadership, management, technical, and engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of the project.
4. Providing advice on the management of projects.
5. Organising the various professional people working on a project.
6. Monitoring the workflow of sub-contractors ensuring guidelines are maintained.
7. Monitoring construction to ensure quality of workmanship and materials.
8. Carrying out risk assessments.
9. Working to resolve critical site issues.
10. Ensuring all the aims of the project are met.
11. Coordinating project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
12. Ensuring Design Team provides required information on time.
13. Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress.
14. Assisting the Project QS with accounting, costing, and billing to ensure the project is on budget.
15. Agreeing on the programme and delivering the project in accordance with it.
16. Chairing site meetings, including sub-contractor progress meetings, and recording required minutes.
17. Chairing Internal and Client Meetings as required by Project Lead / Contracts Manager and recording required minutes.
18. Ensuring the project is running in accordance with the programme and on budget.
19. Completing Weekly, Bi-weekly, and Monthly Reports as part of Project development.
20. Tracking Schedule Status and reporting accordingly.
21. Tracking Project Controls and monitoring schedule and costs for the Project.
22. Tracking and controlling Material & Plant requirements for the Project.
23. Tracking Change Management on the Project and reporting accordingly.
24. Ensuring an efficient construction site.
25. Delivering projects with the highest quality.
26. Leading Safety Leadership to include walks, Area Owner Management, etc.
27. Working with the Health & Safety Department ensuring safe construction at all times.
Strong time management and communication skills are essential to this role, as well as computer literacy and the ability to prepare reports and administer the necessary paperwork.
