Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
Location: Naas, Co Kildare

Role: Description
Supporting the running of a very busy head office in a P2P role that supports sales.
Main Responsibilities and Duties Include:
1. Updating the company system (Business Central) with accurate data on purchased products, customers, and vendors where required.
2. Accurately processing data from the computer system to Excel files and vice versa.
3. Placing orders with vendors, following up on due dates, and arranging transport as required.
4. Reviewing purchase orders against invoices and querying differences before posting for payment.
5. Posting invoices once shipment has been booked in by the Warehouse.
6. Forecasting products based on sales.
7. Answering and resolving all phone/email queries in a timely manner.
8. Helping prepare/pull reports for other departments as required.
9. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Purchasing Manager/Management.
Experience Required:
1. Good working knowledge of Excel including pivot tables is a must.
2. Business Central experience is an advantage.
3. Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience.
4. Forecasting experience.
5. Proficient in English.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Excellent communication skills and phone manner.
8. Focused and hardworking.
9. Able to work as part of a team and customer service focused.
