As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our projects by managing all aspects of quantity surveying, cost control, and contractual matters.
Your expertise will ensure that our projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities: Cost Management: Effectively manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring that projects remain within budget and on target.
Contract Management: Administer contracts, including the preparation of contract documents, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including sourcing and negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
Cost Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, forecasting project costs, and identifying potential cost overruns or savings.
Payment Applications: Prepare and submit payment applications to clients in accordance with contract terms.
Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor accounts, reviewing subcontractor payment applications and ensuring compliance with subcontract terms.
Value Engineering: Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions while maintaining project quality.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with each project and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
Contractual Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and advise on contract-related matters.
Final Accounts: Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
