About the Role:
Our client, a leading retailer in the UK & Ireland, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency of a large property portfolio in Ireland. Based in Swords, this role involves managing planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and driving efficiencies in facilities operations across the portfolio. A great role with a varied week between office and various site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
* Monitor electricity and gas consumption to drive energy efficiency.
* Act as an advisor on complex maintenance issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years’ experience in a similar facilities management role.
* Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
* Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
* Full clean driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple locations.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
