Overall Purpose of the Job
The Soft Services Lead will be responsible for co-ordinating the day to day operation on the ground, including maintenance, caretaking, cleaning and catering departments. They will also liaise closely with the client on day to day operational matters.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Achieve commercial responsibility for the soft services element account, ensuring financial objectives are met through account reconciliation, billing and trending.
* Manage cost control and review costs to reduce costs and achieve savings as per contractual targets.
* Promote and deliver the aims of the Company to meet or exceed quality levels and customer support objectives.
* Lead a team of operatives, managing hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching and development.
* Optimise the soft services portfolio to ensure a quality service while maximising efficiencies.
* Maintain safe working environments and provide facilities for subcontractors to carry out functions without interruption.
* Ensure all aspects of the portfolio under your control are managed effectively.
* Deliver service in line with SLA and KPIs.
* Establish and manage quality measures and procedures to enable two-way communication and continuous improvement.
* Facilitate and manage training requirements to ensure staff are fully trained in service provision.
* Comply with HR policies and procedures for the team.
* Prepare monthly reporting for all services covered under contract.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience working in a regulated Client environment is essential.
* Business management experience is required.
* Knowledge of the cleaning/security function is essential.
* A third level qualification or trade qualification equivalent is necessary.
* Membership of a relevant professional organisation is desired.
* PSA accreditation is required.
* Financial and budgetary experience is essential.
* Project management experience is beneficial.
* A full clean driving licence is required for this role.

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
