NOVAS is a not-for-profit organisation and Approved Housing Body (AHB) providing accommodation, tenancy support, and homelessness prevention services across Ireland. With over 300 staff and more than 30 services in Limerick, Dublin, Clare, Kerry, Cork, and Tipperary, the organisation supports individuals, couples, and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The Role
The HR Service Partner will support managers and staff across NOVAS, ensuring HR services are delivered effectively. Reporting to the Head of HR and working as part of the HR team, the role will involve providing guidance on employment policies, supporting HR processes, and contributing to the organisation’s overall people strategy. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting managers and staff with HR queries and guidance.
* Providing expertise in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, training, and policy implementation.
* Managing HR records and ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
* Contributing to HR projects and initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness.
* Working within the frameworks of relevant quality standards and legislation.
Skills & Experience
* A Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 7) in Human Resource Management or a related field.
* Experience in most or all of the following: employee relations, employment law, recruitment, training, change management, policy implementation, and HR systems.
* Strong IT skills and ability to manage HR records effectively.
* A collaborative approach, in line with NOVAS’s trauma-informed practice principles of respect, diversity, trust, and teamwork.
