The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to join our dynamic Tax and Trade Compliance team.
This role provides a unique chance to influence global e-commerce experiences for top brands.
Reporting to the Head of Trade Compliance, the position covers a broad range of responsibilities, primarily focusing on indirect tax, customs, and supply chain advisory, as detailed below.
ResponsibilitiesSupport our Sales and CSM teams with trade compliance and supply chain solutions to our enterprise retailer base globally.Support the business with client/retailer indirect tax management advice.Assist retailers with pre-sales and onboarding trade compliance support within the group's expanding international business.Support and solution for retailers with trade and indirect tax advisory support post-onboarding.Assist with maintaining internal and external indirect tax content management (to include sales collateral, marketing material for example).Assist with the implementation of indirect tax processes and operational processes such as Duty Drawback, Return Goods Relief for example.Assist with the monthly, quarterly and year trade compliance business reporting to retailers.Liaising with 3rd parties in respect of multi-jurisdictional advice/support.
Requirement to coordinate 3rd party support and provide summary advice internally and externally to clients/retailers.Support with the current and any new indirect tax transformation projects in driving positive change from within the trade compliance function, to include process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices to ensure continued development and growth within the tax and trade compliance function.Dealing with ad-hoc requests as required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, law, or a related field or equivalent experience.Proven experience in trade compliance, indirect tax, and supply chain advisory.Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise advice.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to support the overall objectives of the trade compliance function.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to compete in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Professional certifications in trade compliance or tax (preferred).Proficiency in MS Office and trade compliance software tools.About ESWOur purpose is simple: to create moments that matter between people and the brands they cherish.
