Description
The Apple Services Analytics Engineering QA team ensures the quality and integrity of customer experience data. We are seeking Data Test Automation Engineers who are passionate about ASE products and want to make a difference by improving data quality and learning cutting-edge tools and technologies.
This role involves developing automated testing tools for near real-time and batch data pipeline systems. You will work with web application clients, databases, and data flows to ensure data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities:
* Develop automated testing tools for NRT and batch data pipeline systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and integrity
* Work with web application clients, databases, and data flows to ensure data quality
* Contribute to a fast-paced team environment with strong technical skills
Requirements:
* Expertise in automating web application client to server testing
* Strong understanding of SQL, database schema, data interrelationships, data flows, and data quality
* Experience with writing test plans, creating test case automation, and demonstrating excellent bug reporting skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., HDFS, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra)
* Experience with near real-time and batch data pipelines
* Experience in API testing
* Self-motivated individual with strong technical skills
* Good soft skills, especially listening and interfacing with stakeholders
