Job Description
Your new company is seeking Principal/Associate Electrical Engineers to join their building services team in Belfast.

Your Role
In this role, you will lead and deliver multiple medium to large-scale projects, encompassing all facets of design within electrical engineering consultancy services.
* Undertake calculations and produce drawings
* Produce specifications and reports
* Conduct site surveys and construction stage duties
* Provide client liaison and consult with design/construction teams
You will conduct electrical services designs across a range of sectors, from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Production
* Produce detailed design calculations to support designs
* Produce reports and specifications of all aspects of electrical building services
* Production of design drawings
Site Surveys and Compliance
* Conduct site surveys to establish condition and operation status of existing installations
* Ensure compliance with all aspects of construction health and safety regulations
Mentorship and Guidance
* Mentoring and guidance of junior to intermediate engineers
Support and Leadership
* Input into fee estimates and bid process
* Support directors with resource planning and managing team workload
Requirements
We are looking for:
* An educated background in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or another relevant field
* A Chartered Engineer or willingness to work towards
* Strong project management skills in delivering building services projects from concept through to handover
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the confidence to manage varying client situations
* The ability to develop relationships with new and existing clients
* Understanding of commercial project management and cost control
* Ambition and drive to lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians
* The ability to develop designs conscious of energy conservation, sustainability and with a knowledge basis of renewable technologies
Desirable Skills
Knowledge and experience of a range of digital tools including Auto CAD, Auto Desk Revit, Relux, Dialux, Amtech, NBS and Microsoft packages
