The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Sustainability Consultant (NI/ROI) to work within the Sustainability Group on the Island of Ireland. The role will be based in NI/ROI supporting local clients across a range of sustainability services including (but not limited to): sustainability strategy development and auditing, energy and resource (packaging, water, waste, transport, materials) site auditing; waste management and circular economy; ESG and other sustainability framework reporting; sustainability research studies; and environmental management and assessment tools development and support.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an Honours or Masters Degree in Science, Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Waste, Energy, Business, Quality Management, or a similar field.
Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have experience in many of the following areas/disciplines, ranging from recent graduate entry level to up to 2-3 years’ business/industrial/consultancy experience, including data management, report writing, researching solutions, and project delivery to meet performance KPIs. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the following skills:
* Successful track record in delivering environmental and sustainability project work.
* Organised, logical, and structured; attention to detail.
* Communication and training/facilitation skills.
* Numeracy, data analysis/interpretation, and business acumen.
* Creative thinking and ability to identify and drive new business opportunities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional software packages, including Excel.
