Job Description
The Director of Education role reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer, working closely with the Associate Director of Education, the Leadership team, and the Chairs of Education & Assessment to support ATI's strategy.
Responsibilities
* Curriculum: The provision of effective curricula which provide the wider ATI educators, students and member community with a measurable plan and structure for delivering quality ATI further and higher education & lifelong learning.
* Apprenticeship: The provision of further and higher education technician and technologist apprenticeships.
* Programme Management: The management of ATI's programmes, student supports and services on an all-island basis and the provision of excellent educator advice & in service training.
* Quality Assurance: The assurance of ATI's QQI, SOLAS & HEA regulatory compliance and the management and continuous improvement of ATI's Quality Assurance Systems (QAS), policies, processes, and procedures.
* Assessment: The implementation of ATI's annual Assessment strategy, the operational management of its online assessment delivery and continuous improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Higher Education
* Strong Commercial acumen at senior levels
* Proven ability leading, managing and developing teams
* Post Graduate qualified or equivalent professional qualification
* Evidence of a successful innovative and creative thinking
* Outstanding engagement and communication skills
* Strong self-awareness and evidence of dedication to personal development and improvement
* Confident and highly credible with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
Benefits
Salary of €100,000 per annum
Annual leave of 25 days plus concession days during Easter & Christmas up to 4 days
Half day on the last Friday of each month
Summer hours include 4pm close each Friday for the Summer months
