Business Development Opportunity in Pharmaceutical Chemical Sales
We are seeking a strong business development person to join our team as a Business Manager for our Pharmaceutical ingredients division in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Sales (60% time/daily): Develop key accounts, build an opportunity bank, create sales projects, drive gross margin, and manage client relationships.
* Manufacturer Relationships (30% time/weekly): Develop supplier relationships, obtain marketing information, ensure stock levels, communicate with partners, and cultivate new suppliers.
* Training (10% time/monthly): Maintain knowledge of market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
Requirements:
* BSc/PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
* 3+ years of Chemical Sales experience at Business Manager level.
* Knowledge of the Irish pharmaceutical pipeline.
* Solid sales experience in B2B environment.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Business acumen to attract and develop supplier partners.
