Role Description
Global Sourcing Contract Activities
The primary focus of this team in Ireland involves managing international sourcing contract activities on a global scale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in the healthcare industry and help strengthen its global presence.
Accounting & Finance Advisor
The Advisor of Accounting & Finance is responsible for providing support on maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting principles. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the management of the monthly financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and performing timely review of results for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.
* Completing account reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
* Supporting statutory account preparation and internal and external audits.
* Performing key controls.
* Preparing budgets and forecasts for local operations.
* Supporting changes in processes, systems, new business initiatives, and review and monitor income statement activity.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
* 4+ years' experience in a related field.
* Experience in public accounting and/or large multinational companies preferred.
* Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
* Chartered Accountant (CAI)/CPA preferred.
