The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Clerk (H-3) Public Works to support our government customer located in Kekaha Hawai’i.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Under limited supervision, performs a variety of multi-level clerical tasks associated with the work assigned.
2. Inputs Work Control data, asset information, and job plans into Maximo and NAVFAC Maximo.
3. Serves as primary clerical support in independently processing departmental requirements.
4. May perform the duties of the Public Works H-4 clerk during those absences of the H-4 clerk.
5. Tracks contract deliverables (CDRL’s) and ensures they are accurate, current, posted, and submitted to the customer when required.
6. May serve as local Fire Warden.
7. Assists supervisor with Weekly Work Plan CDRL.
8. Maintains a neat and professional work area.
9. Maintains department training files to include suspense of recurring requirements.
10. Assists with and processes the weekly work schedule.
11. Performs administrative tasks for assigned area to include typing, filing, answering of incoming phone calls and assisting the section in completing tasks.
12. Backfills clerical positions in other departments as needed.
13. Prepares reports to support office and annex requirements.
14. Maintains office supply inventory.
15. Assists in conducting inventories, audits, developing reports and data processing.
16. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks including sitting and lifting, pushing and pulling between 10-25 pounds. Environment will include customer contact.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Graduate of a recognized school of business preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Four (4) years of general office experience is required.
2. Must be proficient in operating a calculator, personal computers, and standard office equipment.
3. Must have strong people and communication skills.
4. Must be able to type 40-50 words per minute and perform multi-tasking (more than one task at a time) during peak periods.
5. Must possess the following PC skills: MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen
2. Secret security clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements
