Overall Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, we have a great opportunity for a part qualified accountant to join our finance team and to be involved in the growth of Magnet+. The accountant will be involved in monthly financial reporting as well as supporting the existing work processes within the business. The ideal candidate should be in the final stages of qualifying as an accountant or newly qualified. Training and Educational support will be provided. The candidate will be required to attend the office 2 days per week, and required to be flexible should the need arise to attend an extra day for team building purposes in accordance with the company’s hybrid working policy.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Accurate and timely reporting of Revenue numbers.
2. Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
3. Support in preparation of year end statutory accounts and facilitating Auditor requests.
4. Business performance analysis including monthly, YTD, YOY profitability and actual vs budget variances.
5. Balance Sheet reconciliations.
6. Support all finance functions within the business to include cash flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable.
7. Assist with other finance projects and activities as they arise.
Required Qualifications/Expertise:
1. Part qualified accountant with a proven ability to pass exams in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
2. 2+ years experience in industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
4. Analytical, organized and capable of working on one’s own initiative or be part of a team.
5. Flexible and adaptability on responsibilities.
