Job Summary:
Presidio is seeking an Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will manage a territory and be responsible for sales in consulting services including strategy, design, implementation, managed services, Cisco, VMware, AWS, Microsoft and other applicable product solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales objectives primarily through sales to new customers and also through sales of additional services to existing customers.
2. Discover client business needs and propose appropriate product or service.
3. Manage territory, including account planning and opportunity management.
4. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Presidio’s products and services.
5. Excellent service is required to ensure assigned accounts meet or exceed client satisfaction through up-selling.
6. Properly forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory.
7. Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue
8. Successfully negotiate contracts.
9. Provide feedback from field experience to sales management with regards to product, selling, competitive matters. etc.
10. Build and maintain trusting relationships with associates and customers.
11. Effectively transfer thoughts and express ideas using speech and listening skills to influence others and gain support.
12. Competitive, high achiever who persists despite obstacles, opposition or setbacks.
Required Skills:
13. - years information technology sales.
14. - Experience working within the technology infrastructure Value Added Reseller (VAR) space directly, or as a vendor partnering with the channel desired.
15. Experience with Cloud-based solutions selling is a bonus.
Additional Desired Skills:
16. Knowledge and strong working relationship with at least one of Presidio's strategic partners: Cisco, VMware, EMC, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco or Palo Alto Networks or similar partner certification preferred.
