About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager to enhance our team's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
2. Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and deliver objectives in line with EPS values.
4. Training and Communication: Devise training programs for employees on HSQE practices and ensure they understand safety protocols.
5. Incident Management: Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations and ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and standards.
7. Client and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies on health, safety, and environmental matters. Provide regular updates and reports on safety performance and compliance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
* Full Irish Driving Licence.
