Growth Marketing Manager, Emerging Markets
Founded in Vancouver, Canada in 2008, Clio is the global leader in legal technology, and the first legal practice management unicorn. While the majority of Clio’s growth to date has been in North America, a key focus for Clio’s next stage of growth will come from international markets.
Today, Clio has customers in over 100 countries. Clio has had an Irish presence focused on EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) since 2015 and the Dublin team is currently 50 strong, including 6 in marketing. The Marketing team has been primarily focused on the UK market, driving rave reviews from customers, and key partnerships with the Law Society of England and Wales.

As the Senior Growth Marketing Manager for Emerging Markets at Clio, you’ll be part of a team that values excellence and initiative, loves testing, and cares about results. Our wider Marketing team is geographically distributed across Ireland, Canada, the US, and Australia, which means we excel with async, video, and Slack communication to collaborate effectively. We value initiative, excellence, experimentation, and care about results.
Who you are:
You are an experienced growth marketer with a proven track record of strategising as well as implementing, and executing data-driven marketing programs that achieve ambitious targets. You are known for your communication skills, juggling and prioritisation abilities and work well with a tight-knit, friendly, and high-performing team. You also have strong collaboration skills and are able to work cross-functionally to execute programs. You're known for being able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a clear set of priorities. You’re also not afraid of a challenge and are excited about the opportunity to help Clio reach a new level of growth in new markets, while accelerating your professional development and expanding your skill set.
The Marketing team is a high-profile part of our EMEA org, the primary driver of Clio’s lead generation machine. We lead strategic campaigns and initiatives that attract, engage, and convert target segments in the legal industry.
What you’ll work on:
1. Lead Clio’s Emerging Markets growth strategy, identifying marketing opportunities that can be optimised to unlock exponential growth;
2. Analyse all aspects of Clio’s marketing funnel and identify the largest areas of improvement and implement strategies to capitalise on these opportunities;
3. Articulate and communicate plans and results with key stakeholders including the executive team;
4. Lead and partner with colleagues in the marketing organisation, sales, and revenue operations teams to execute on programs, monitor metrics and results, and adjust programs as needed to meet goals;
5. Act as a resource and subject matter expert for your regions, surfacing customer and competitor insights and opportunities;
6. Implement growth marketing campaigns that bring our story to life for prospects;
7. Bring a hypothesis-driven mindset for prioritising, testing, implementing and experimenting with ideas, channels, and campaigns;
8. Own and launch scalable end-to-end programs, designed with specific goals based on driving growth in Emerging Markets;
9. Collaborate with our Global paid acquisition team to capture and create demand through paid channels;
10. Manage negotiating and partnering with vendors executing on any media opportunities, digital or printed advertising to build awareness and drive leads to Clio;
11. Plan, organise and attend conferences, webinars, local meet ups, trade shows and events;
12. Leverage our community of industry partners (law societies/ local bar associations, legal experts, integration partners, and marketing partners) for lead generation opportunities.
What you should have:
1. 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, growth marketing focused organisation, EMEA experience would be an advantage;
2. Excellent analytical skills and experience measuring data-driven marketing programs;
3. Ability to plan, organise, and execute multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines;
4. Strong communication, presentation, project management, and writing skills;
5. Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies;
6. Comfort making decisions with imperfect information;
7. Superior marketing skills across multiple paid and organic channels;
8. A focus on driving leads and opportunities;
9. Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Serious bonus points if you:
1. Experience in B2B SaaS;
2. Legal industry knowledge and/or experience;
3. Familiarity with Asana, Salesforce, Looker and Dreamdata.

The full salary range for this role is €62,000 to €73,000 to €84,000 EUR. In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.
