My client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our architectural firm based in Dublin City on Part-time basis.
The successful candidate will manage the firm’s financial records, oversee administrative operations, and contribute to the smooth running of the office. This is a unique opportunity to work in a creative environment with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile bank accounts.
* Process payroll, ensuring compliance with Irish tax regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of expenses, invoices, and other financial documents.
* Prepare and file VAT returns and other statutory financial reports.
* Oversee general office operations, including maintaining supplies and equipment.
* Act as the main point of contact for vendors, service providers, and building management.
* Manage office budgets and track expenses.
* Coordinate staff schedules, meetings, and internal communications.
* Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations.
* Provide administrative assistance to senior staff, including document preparation and correspondence.
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical.
* Assist with project-related administrative tasks, such as tracking project expenses and preparing reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
* At least 12 months experience in a similar role in Ireland.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with Irish payroll and tax regulations.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management.
* Experience in the architectural or construction industry is an advantage.
* Knowledge of project management tools and systems.
