Job Description
We are seeking talented Electrical Engineers (Intermediate to Senior Levels) to join our growing team for a wide range of projects nationwide, with a prime focus on the midlands.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation, evaluation and optimization of design concepts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Develop electrical building services designs/specifications from customer briefs.
* Conduct feasibility studies on new designs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
* Manage project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
* Lead and/or participate in design and review meetings.
* Generate designs in accordance with current codes, guidelines and best practices.
* Develop cost estimates and tender documents.
* Direct other members of the design team in undertaking their roles and responsibilities.
* Undertake site inspections and prepare written reports on same.
* Generate production information and develop and manage full product design documentation.
* Resolving client-related issues by problem-solving and troubleshooting designs.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 3+ years of post-graduate experience in Electrical Engineering Design.
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of electrical building services design, building regulations and relevant standards.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software such as Amtech, Dialux, or Relux.
* Experience in designing electrical systems for sectors such as Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, and Industrial.
