The Data Analyst Team Lead is a hands-on role managing a team who develop, modify, and support all clinical and financial reporting across all divisions in the hospital. They are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and technical support to all Beacon Hospital departments, external users and create a positive relationship with external vendors. The successful candidate will report directly to the CIO with a dotted line to the IT Project Manager. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables Day to day leadership of the Data Analytics Team Review and establish best practices through the entire Data Analytics process Reporting and achieving SLAs targets. Quality assurance by checking on a selection of tickets with the end customer, quantifying customers satisfactions levels based on a Net Promoter Score Ensure each member of the team is clear about their goals and are customer focused Regular meetings with the team to mentor and monitor performance include key KPIs Be a technical escalation point for the Data Analytics team Recruit, train, and support Data Analytics team to meet the changing needs of the business. Conduct performance appraisals with the team members. Identify repeat issues and put in place a plan to eliminate same. Support the IT Projects team in delivering the Go Digital Strategy. Identify tickets that can be dealt with more efficiently i.e. automation, train the customers, etc. Ensure customers are kept up to date on any delays and ticket escalations Continually challenge and improve processes/solutions from lessons learned, bench marking, and resolving repeat issue in the context of reducing the number of tickets raised and provided a world class service. Contingency planning for unavailability, equipment failure and disaster recovery Alignment to budget controls and ensure cost effectiveness. Ensure all applications adhere to our IT Security Policy and processes Person Specification Qualification Relevant qualification in Information Technology and or Business to HETAC Level 8. Experience Strong SQL and Excel skills, and experience using a BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview or similar). Experience with R, Python, SQL, Matlab, SPSS, SAS, C# or other languages. Experience in managing people/projects Experience in a healthcare environment would be desirable Job Specific Competencies and Knowledge Excellent understanding of lifecycle of a data analytics project/request Experience in a healthcare environment would be desirable Must be able to perform various duties with minimal supervision Proven ability to work as a team member.
