Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Director of Business Development to support our growth objectives at Frontier Scientific Solutions. This role will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities within the life sciences sector, collaborating closely with the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the temperature-controlled logistics sector for life sciences.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and key industry stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the CCO and other teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
* Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing our unique capabilities and solutions.
* Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote Frontier Scientific Solutions and expand the company's network.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development efforts.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the life sciences or logistics industries.
* Strong interpersonal, consultative-selling and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a persuasive approach.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a keen understanding of the life sciences sector.
