Abbey Street Dublin An opportunity has arisen in VHI for a National Strategy Lead in Womens Health.
This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver womens health care solutions on a national scale under Vhis new integrated healthcare strategy.
The healthcare strategy sets out a plan to deliver a personal and digital experience through our leading insurance proposition that provides access to a connected healthcare system, supporting our members to live longer, stronger, healthier lives.
The strategy identifies a number of priority areas that, when delivered, will demonstrate value in the form of superior population health, superior member experience, and improved affordability of care to our 1.2 million members.
Womens health is a key area of focus for VHI.
This role will drive development of patient-centred holistic care following a life course approach and champion organisational awareness of current and emerging issues in womens health for VHI members.

Hybrid working opportunities Health Insurance Performance related pay Company pension And many more Key Accountabilities Leads the development and design of strategic healthcare solutions for womens health, aligned to the Vhi integrated healthcare strategy, and in collaboration with clinical, operational and business leads across the organisation, to deliver healthcare value, improved access and improved member experience.
Ensures member/customer needs are met as part of the development and design of all strategic healthcare solutions.
Ensures a coordinated approach to the planning and implementation of healthcare solutions by working closely with cross-functional project teams and experts to drive achievement of common goals.
Champions womens health through educational activities and internal/external stakeholder engagement Develops, strengthens relationships and drives implementation of integrated care pathways across own provision, partner providers and third party providers to ensure successful delivery of healthcare solutions.
Provides proactive leadership by negotiating, influencing and developing effective partnerships to advocate for the clinical care for the VHI population by participating in internal and external stakeholder engagement and events.
Supports development of the tools and capabilities for measuring the outcomes of healthcare initiatives across the key metrics of Healthcare Cost, Access and Better Health Outcomes, and embedding these measures across business reporting and KPIs Anticipates stakeholder needs, develops and discusses potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realised they are required.
Aligns to the Vhi Values Skills & Experience The ideal candidate is passionate about womens health with demonstrated expertise in clinical service design and delivery and a history of working in matrix organisations and/or multi-disciplinary teams.
Clinical:
