Role Overview
As a Graduate Process Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting projects and driving innovation within the team. You'll be involved in the identification, specification, and validation of new equipment, processes, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and validate new processes, including running trials and feasibility studies for new products and technologies.
* Design and implement new methodologies, materials, and processes to bring concepts to market, ensuring all documentation is precise and complete.
* Apply a science-based approach to develop and enhance processes and technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to solve technical challenges and improve capabilities.
* Prepare and manage project plans, including timelines, resources, and costs.
* Write and review customer development proposals for new projects.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives, using lean tools and Six Sigma principles to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Complete validation documentation, including FMEAs and control plans, adhering to ISO13485, Medical Device Regulation, and FDA Quality System requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 1 year of industry experience, ideally within the medical device or manufacturing sector.
* Strong technical skills with the ability to work hands-on to solve problems.
