Meet your potential employer? One of the largest independent firms of Accountants based in Limerick are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager to join their busy finance team. This is a fantastic job opportunity for an ambitious qualified (ACA / ACCA / CPA) accountant to develop your portfolio and man management skills. Role Overview As an Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager you will be responsible for both managing and leading audit and accounting assignments. Work will include involvement in audits from planning through to completion, preparing, delegating and reviewing accounting assignments, finalising and submitting accounts, mentoring junior staff and liaising with clients on a regular basis. Your client base will range from smaller OMBs through to larger limited companies over the audit threshold and some group structures. To start you will manage a handful of your own portfolios whilst also completing work for the partner and overtime your portfolio will grow as you progress into a managerial role. Your Profile The partners are looking to recruit a qualified accountant who has gained mixed audit and accounts experience within an accountancy firm. Ideally you will be ACA / ACCA qualified and have gained at least 12 months PQE and be comfortable undertaking audit and accounts assignments through to completion stages. You must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ambition to progress and take on management responsibility as this role offers progression to managing a full portfolio over time.
