Maintenance Engineer - Pharmaceuticals
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Dublin facility of a leading biopharmaceutical organisation.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience in a cGMP commercial manufacturing environment, with a strong background in maintenance and quality management. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our innovative mission.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure EHS responsibilities are carried out according to regulations and procedures.
* Provide support for new equipment installations and product introductions.
* Maintain the Maintenance Quality System by adhering to SOPs, policies, and cGMP requirements.
* Plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
* Maintain spare parts, change parts, and equipment within the DS facility and Engineering Stores.
* Evaluate and maintain the Maintenance Management System.
* Utilise and maintain IT systems as required.
* Lead shift-handovers and report issues using a Tier-meeting approach.
* Support Operations, Validation, Engineering, and Quality where necessary.
Requirements:
* Associate Degree or certification in a mechanical, electrical, or related field.
* 3-5 years' experience in a cGMP commercial manufacturing environment, preferably with upstream (cell culture) and downstream purification experience.
* Prior hands-on experience with CMMS and Computerised Calibration Systems.
* Prior experience with Quality Management Systems.
* High level of interpersonal, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrable knowledge of cGMP for process equipment, instruments, and calibration.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean systems is an advantage.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
