Content Editor (12-month contract, remote) Hibernia College, a leader in career education and digital learning, is seeking a Content Editor to join its Digital Learning Department.
This fixed-term, remote position focuses on the review of digital course materials to ensure quality, consistency and adherence to style guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Review digital learning content (text, graphics, video, assessments, etc.)
Ensure content aligns with industry standards and Hibernia College's style guidelines Provide feedback to learning designers and the Design team Implement minor edits using tools such as Articulate Rise, Moodle and Microsoft Word Help ensure compliance with copyright, GDPR, accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) guidelines Contribute to process improvements and standard operating procedures Requirements Essential Relevant third-level qualification Experience in editing, reviewing or instructional design (preferably in e-learning) Strong writing, communication and organisational skills Understanding of instructional and visual design principles Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Desirable Knowledge of accessibility, UDL, copyright and GDPR guidelines Experience with digital authoring tools (e.g.
Articulate 360, Moodle) Familiarity with online assessment design and user-centred design Working knowledge of the Irish language To apply, submit a CV and supporting letter by 4 April 2025 .
