My client is looking for a Financial Controller on a part-time basis (3 days a week) to join their team based in Limerick and manage all financial aspects of their growing business. The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and handling tax matters.
Role Overview
1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
2. Prepare financial reports
3. Monitor internal controls
4. Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
6. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
7. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
8. Analyse financial data and provide insights to management
9. Provide financial analysis and support to the management team
10. Manage cash flow and working capital
Your Profile
1. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
2. Experience in SME Business, ideally one that has experienced growth
3. Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
