As a Senior Sales & Events Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing the planning and execution of events at the hotel. Your role will include building relationships with clients, coordinating all aspects of events, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
Our client is a luxury hotel situated in the stunning location of Killiney. Duties:
* Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including corporate events, weddings, and social functions.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their event expectations are met and exceeded.
* Collaborate with the hotel’s operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of events.
* Handle inquiries, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts for events.
* Actively promote and market the hotel’s event spaces and services to potential clients.
* Conduct site visits, show rounds, and meetings with prospective clients.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
* Ensure post-event follow-up with clients to secure repeat business and gather feedback.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sales & Events Executive or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate events.
* Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
