Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of project planning, including pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
Project Planning Activities: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, progress databases, and milestone projections to ensure timely completion.
Site Management: Conduct regular site audits, attend meetings with clients and subcontractors, and prepare tender schedules, histograms, and support weekly workface planning.
Leadership and Teamwork: Lead planning meetings, provide data for payment applications, and assist in recording delays, preparing claims, and handling contractual disputes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and accuracy of schedules and reports, providing training to staff as needed and covering Senior Project Planner responsibilities when required.
Requirements: Construction-related degree or trade background, 3+ years' experience in Project Planning of large construction projects, excellent communication skills, IT and software skills (including Oracle P6 and Excel), ability to work effectively in a team, and commitment to Health & Safety.
