EHS Manager (Permanent)
This role will be based in Dungarvan. The primary purpose of the role is;
1. Responsible for the site EHS management system and compliance to EHS legislation and Haleon EHS standards
2. Work across boundaries with the ELT for both Panadol and Denture Care supporting EHS in the Value streams and responsible for the day to day running of the business.
3. Build capability of the EHS team
4. Project manages EHS risk reduction initiatives
5. Work with Occupational Health to assist in the implementation of an effective health and wellness programme.
In this role you will…
6. Develop new and novel options in term of EHS programs which support reducing risk and challenges others thinking in terms of improving EHS management at Dungarvan.
7. Develop ideas with the output being suitable for presentation to the site leadership team and senior management with input from key stakeholder.
8. Support site management, site personnel and EHS personnel development to a level which increase competencies in technical EHS subjects & EHS management. Support site personnel by coaching and mentoring to aid development.
9. Develop EHS plans for the sites which align with site objectives.
10. Develop site EHS performance metrics which bring focus to key areas.
11. Challenge poor performance and support through focused effort which support customer needs.
12. Focus site management on EHS performance and goals with the ability to drive effective change programs with accelerated lead times.
13. Ensure effective implementation of EHS programs through effective project management, good communication and review processes.
14. Communication skills will be important to ensure customer needs and views and dealt with effectively in a positive manner.
15. A key success factor of this role will be the integration of this role and other EHS roles into day- to-day site operations and the culture of the site. Building trust among key stakeholders is critical to this role, key stakeholders in include site employees, contractors and regulators.

16. Diploma in Health & Safety and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Health & Safety (IOSH)
17. Green belt LMLS qualification
18. 5 years experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/FMCG industry.
