We are seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker to join our team in a well-established homeless and drug service. The successful candidate will have experience working with families in need and be committed to reducing the harm caused by addiction and homelessness.

* Minimise the impact of services on the local community, including anti-social behaviour and community engagement.
Requirements
* A minimum Third Level 7 Social Care Qualification.
* A minimum 12 months' full time experience or part time equivalent working in a similar low threshold environment.
* An understanding of issues relating to National Standards for Safer Better Healthcare.
* An understanding of issues relating to homelessness, mental health and substance misuse.
* Experience in dealing with de-escalating difficult situations, including managing challenging behaviour.
* Experience of working in a security role is an advantage.
