The Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team, focusing on creating a therapeutic environment using evidence-based recovery-oriented clinical practices and interventions.
Key Duties
* To develop and provide individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions/strategies to patients/residents as required.
* To carry a caseload and perform the duties required of a Basic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
* To report to the Clinical Director and liaise with the relevant Consultant/Psychiatrist on professional and administrative issues regarding work as a member of the clinical teams.
Essential Criteria
* A recognised third-level degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) in psychology obtained with first or second class honours and accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
* A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.
* At least one year of satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology.
