A forward-thinking organisation based in Cork is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Sustainability Co-Ordinator to support and drive environmental initiatives across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive team environment, working across departments to help embed sustainability principles into daily operations. Youll be involved in developing environmental practices, tracking key performance indicators, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. What Youll Be Doing Supporting the development and roll-out of sustainability goals, policies, and guidelines Working with different departments to implement energy-saving, waste-reduction, and carbon-reduction initiatives Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate sustainability progress internally and to customers Helping coordinate assessments, inspections, and audits for schemes such as Origin Green, Ecovadis, and CSRD Identifying actions that reduce environmental impact and support business efficiency Engaging with third-party providers to support improvement projects Supporting sustainability-related employee training and upskilling programmes Tracking and analysing environmental KPIs and contributing to reporting and improvement plans Assisting in maintaining supplier and certification records, including GFSI, sustainability standards, and specifications Participating in continuous improvement activities with the wider business Who You Are Hold a Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field Have 02 years of experience in a related role (internships or placements welcome) Have a genuine passion for sustainability and making a positive environmental impact Detail-oriented, well-organised, and eager to learn Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Comfortable working with data and reporting metrics A proactive team player who enjoys problem-solving and continuous improvement Why This Role?
