Job Title: Maintenance/Facilities Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance/Facilities Manager to join our client in the Public/Healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Maintenance Dept, ensuring quality-based and cost-effective services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage performance and maintenance of buildings, including mechanical & electrical services.
* Participate in and manage new development projects.
* Prepare annual buildings and maintenance plans, including Minor/Major Capital, Energy Management, and PEMAC requests.
* Ensure contracts works are managed in line with H&S policies/procedures & construction regulations.
* Chair meetings and committees.
* Prepare reports, estimates, specifications, and drawings.
* Carry out Risk Assessments, audits, and fire safety.
* Prepare budgetary plans for infrastructural works, procurement, and purchasing of materials.
Requirements:
* 3rd Level/Apprenticeship in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade OR Engineering/Surveying/Facilities/Chartered Surveyors.
* At least 7 years experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings.
* Experience in management of operational budgets.
* Management of multidisciplinary trades & technical teams.
* Experience in implementation of Planned Maintenance programmes.
* Experience working with building service systems, technologies i.e. UPS units, AHU's, water treatment systems.
* Must have a valid Safe Pass or equivalent.
Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per annum
