Chief Physicist and Head of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering
The Chief Physicist is responsible for leading and directing the Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering Department at Beaumont Hospital. This department provides scientific and technical support to clinical staff in relation to medical devices, diagnostic imaging, ionising and non-ionising radiation protection, teaching and training.

Role Responsibilities
* Leading and directing the Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering Department
* Providing professional and scientific leadership on all matters relating to the application of medical physics and clinical engineering
* Setting, following through and delivering on objectives
* Managing services offered by MPCE with a view to development of high quality services
Requirements
* Highly experienced with a proven record of achievement
* Dynamic and strong scientific skills
* Able to lead, motivate and communicate with senior management, business leads and clinical staff
The successful candidate will be able to drive the development of new clinical services and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing clinical services for the benefit of patients.
