Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Belfast City Centre
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key financial decision-making processes within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing routine finance inquiries, handling a wide range of finance-related queries from clients, external bodies, and vendors.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements, regularly reconciling supplier statements to ensure consistency and accuracy.
* Accurate data entry, maintaining a high level of precision in entering financial data across multiple systems.
* Supplier account management, creating, maintaining, and managing supplier accounts.
* Purchase invoice processing, ensuring accurate processing of purchase invoices by reviewing, verifying, and posting them to the appropriate accounts.
* General bookkeeping tasks, taking responsibility for daily bookkeeping duties, including processing bank reconciliations, managing expenses, and keeping detailed records of all financial transactions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years similar accounting experience.
* Experience in credit control, including handling telephone communications.
* Strong administrative/customer service experience.
* Strong systems experience, particularly Excel.
