This role reports directly to the Finance Manager - Technical accounts and provides exposure to a wide range of activities and projects, which are key to ensuring our success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To undertake and provide assistance in various accounting duties including:
1. Verify accurateness, reliability and completeness of technical data
2. Assist in the preparation of monthly technical accounts
3. Assist in the preparation of third party administrator fees and insurance premium tax calculations
4. Assist in the preparation of reinsurance accounts
5. Assist in two key projects (i) new technical accounting system and (ii) Group IFRS17
6. Preparation of account reconciliations
7. Maintain and update Departmental procedures
8. Provide support to the accounts payable and accounts receivable
9. Prepare regular update of the underlying reserving data
10. To be back-up of the fellow colleagues team leader in situation of absence
External Relations:
11. Develop and then maintain good relationships with other key stakeholders
12. Liaise closely with line Manager
13. Maintain good relationship with auditors external and internal
14. Work closely with business partners and third party administrators
