About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy Accounts team in Newry.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Matching, checking, coding, and posting of large volumes of supplier invoices.
* Processing staff expenses.
* Making supplier payments via Bacs.
* Reconciliation of Supplier Statements.
* Dealing with Supplier enquiries.
* Filing invoices and statements.
* Performing other duties as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience of a busy purchase ledger environment.
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
* Experience of a finance function in a business with demonstrated ability for accuracy and speed.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Evidence of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
